Choosing the right voice can make all the difference to ensure that people take in what they’re being told in training films
Financial Regulation isn’t easy. Part of the EBA’s remit is to ensure that national regulators, competent authorities, banks and other financial institutions are clear about their own requirements.
So the EBA produces a broad range of training materials, which must be delivered accurately and succinctly.
They asked us to source and record voice-overs for two training packages.
Identifying the right Voiceover artist for a brand
We identified six potential voiceover artists, each of whom could be understood by people who do not have English as their first language.
It was important that their voice reflected the EBA's new communications strategy and the new EBA brand that we created last year.
Their experience ranged from drama students through to full-time technical voiceover artists.
After recording some test scripts the client chose a BBC Radio presenter we regularly work with.
Although not an expert in financial acronyms and jargon, she delivered the two scripts brilliantly.
And now she knows all about banking liquidity, too.
