Recruiting the best talent is a challenge for every organisation. The EBA is no exception.
The European Banking Authority (EBA) is one of the key regulators for Europe's banking sector.
The HR team asked us to develop video, digital and print content which highlighted the benefits of working at the (EBA) to a very broad audience.
Following our work to refresh the EBA’s communications strategy, update the EBA's brand and visual identity, and then create some voiceovers for international training videos, we were invited to develop a case study-led campaign highlighting the benefits of working at the EBA.
In particular, we were encouraged to show the EBA as an attractive place to work by showcasing its diverse and inclusive working environment.
And the increasing scope of work that staff were undertaking.
We needed to highlight the opportunities for career opportunities, personal development and growth at every level, within an innovative supportive culture.
We worked with the EBA to identify people who could tell rich, personal stories about their experiences working there which supported the key messages we need to highlight.
We then:
- Wrote up short and pithy interviews with 15 employees for the website, all featuring at least one of the key messages we wanted to get across
- Produced a film which shows what it’s like to work at the EBA by including all the key messages we identified
- Produced five cut-downs of the film to be used on social media
- Updated the copy and visuals used in recruitment brochures
The results
- The film, ‘Working at the EBA’ is now a cornerstone of the EBA's approach to recruitment
- Interviews with staff are featured prominently on the EBA website
- Social media edits of the ‘Working at the EBA’ film are used across all channels, and shared by stakeholders to illustrate the culture of the EBA
