We commit to reduce modern slavery in every way possible

Restless Communications is committed to conducting our operations ethically and with integrity. We select our clients and our suppliers because of their behaviour.

We do everything we can to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place within our business or supply chains.

Although our annual turnover currently falls below the legal threshold and we are not legally required to publish a statement under Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we believe in upholding its principles voluntarily.

About Our Business

Restless Communications is a UK and EU-based communications consultancy specialising in communications strategy, crisis communications, content strategy, training, and internal and external communications.

We support clients across the public and private sectors. We do a lot of work with EU Agencies.

Policies and Ethical Standards

  • We operate under a zero‐tolerance policy toward all forms of modern slavery, including forced labour and human trafficking.
  • We promote fair, respectful working conditions and clear legal rights for all staff, freelancers, and contractors.

Risk Assessment and Due Diligence

  • Our supply chain is deliberately lean. It mainly includes office supplies, digital tools, marketing materials, and occasionally external trainers or freelance creatives.
  • We conduct risk assessments focused on geographic and sector exposure. We prioritise transparency and ethical standards when we start to work with any partner.
  • Where feasible, we seek suppliers with aligned values and, in higher-risk areas, we would always request declarations of compliance or evidence of ethical practices.

Training and Awareness

  • While the risk profile is low, our leadership are extremely familiar with the principles of modern slavery. (One of our long-term clients has been the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights. Previously we have worked with Amnesty).
  • We constantly monitor the awareness and knowledge of colleagues, freelancers, and partners and will suggest and fund formal training as required.

Review and Continuous Improvement

  • We will review this statement annually, ensuring it remains up‑to‑date with emerging guidance and aligned with Restless Communications’ expanding operations.
  • As our business grows, we will proportionately enhance our ethical governance, supplier oversight, and awareness‑raising activities.

I set up Restless Communications to deliver strategic and integrated campaigns for organisations I believe in. To offer crisis comms support. And to create content with impact. Away from work I shout at Arsenal, DJ, read loads and walk my dog.
